About Me
Hi, I’m Stephanie. What makes me different from the average therapist is my knowledge and expertise in behavior and learning. I have a bachelors in Psychology, a masters in School Counseling, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership, and I use every ounce of my knowledge in psychology and education to support you.
I began my career in education as a school counselor, and this is where my passion for behavior began. I was suddenly the school’s main defense for student experiencing challenging behaviors, and I started to see and experience behaviors that I did not understand. So I began learning, and found myself falling in love with helping others understand and change their behavior to find success.
After 8 years of learning, and completing my own research in how school policy shapes educator and student behavioral interactions (hint hint, it includes a whole lot of learning!), I switched careers from education to mental health. I am now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I am passionate about teaching parents everything they need to support their child’s behaviors and get more enjoyable moments of parenting.
