My Approach
I am passionate about teaching parents the ‘why’ behind their child’s unique behaviors, and the ‘what’ to do about it. Behavior is a form of communication, and I teach parents how to break behavior down so they can understand what their child is trying to communicate. I then teach parents the most effective behavioral strategies to support their child’s unique needs. While behavior takes time to change, my approach streamlines the process as many of my client’s are able to complete therapy within a year.
My approach is collaborative and centers on one on one therapy, family support with coaching behaviors in the moment, as well as consultation to support your child’s behavior at school.
This time is different because it’s effective.
Our work together is grounded in decades of theory and therapy.
